HONOBIA — Some 25 to 30 researchers will be braving the southeastern Oklahoma woods this weekend in search of the reclusive but infamous Bigfoot. The Kiamichi Mountains provide the apelike creature a habitat that’s rich with deer, berries, honeysuckle and plenty of woodsy cover, believers say.

Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Enforcement Division agents have arrested a Farmerville man in connection with felony contest fraud, accusing him of killing a deer at night and then entering the buck in two big buck contests.
